What if I want to start over with one of my PALs?

PALs learn from you over time — remembering conversations, preferences, and habits — but you always have the option to start fresh with a factory reset.

A Factory Reset will permanently erase that PAL’s data, including conversation history, memories, and any customizations. This action cannot be undone.

To perform a reset, open the Tavus web portal and select the PAL you want to reset. Click their name and dropdown arrow in the top-left corner to open the details module. At the very bottom, you’ll see a large Factory Reset button. Click it, then confirm when prompted to complete the reset. Your PAL will return to its original state, ready to meet you again for the first time.
